N3 Engine Overhaul Services (N3) is the European centre of excellence for the maintenance and repair of Rolls-Royce Trent engines. engines of the Trent series. CHECK-IN / YOUR PROFILE

  • completed university education of at least 3 years in the field of aviation or mechanical engineering.
  • at least 5 years of professional experience in aviation, in the field of work preparation or engine repair and overhaul
  • extensive knowledge of the functionality of engine components and systems
  • good knowledge of engine documentation and applicable airworthiness and safety requirements
  • customer and goal orientation
  • flexible, independent and punctual working style
  • good communication skills, ability to work in a team - and ability to work under pressure
  • good knowledge of German language desirable (B1) / will to learn

BOARDING / YOUR TASKS

  • collate and assess technical variances across the production teams and obtain TVs (Technical Variances) from Rolls-Royce
  • identifying necessary and strategic changes in the manual and developing change proposals
  • planning and implementing process-related improvements to optimise quality, cost and time
  • actively communicate proposals for alternative repair techniques to Rolls-Royce
  • coordinating and communicating technical deviations to the mechanic teams and to Rolls-Royce
  • working closely with internal project and customer teams to ensure a trouble-free process
