N3 Engine Overhaul Services (N3) is the European competence centre for the maintenance and repair of Rolls-Royce engines of the Trent series. The joint venture between Lufthansa Technik AG and Rolls-Royce plc is located at the gates of Arnstadt, in Thuringia's largest industrial area "Erfurter Kreuz". More than 700 employees service the engines of 50 international airlines on behalf of Rolls-Royce.

CHECK-IN / OUR PROFILE

  • at least 3 years of university education in the field of aviation, mechanical engineering or comparable
  • professional experience in aviation, in the field of work preparation or engine repair and overhaul desirable
  • high quality awareness as well as strong customer and goal orientation
  • ability to work in a team, assertiveness and initiative
  • good knowledge of German desirable (B1)

BOARDING / YOUR TASKS

  • technical support of the individual specialist repair areas as well as the supervision of repair work on engine parts and components, taking into account customer requirements and technical feasibility
  • defining test methods and analysing existing test procedures, taking into account quality, cost and optimisation potentials
  • creating the necessary generic and specific documentation
  • introducing and analysing new repair procedures and technologies
  • implementation of requirements in compliance with current guidelines and regulations, e.g. from authorities and manufacturer specifications
  • support of machines and systems in individual specialist areas
  • coordinating technical content with customers, suppliers and specialist departments
  • Creation and conducting trainings as well as technical briefings
  • leading department-related process improvements
